For the uneducated, diners at Alamo Drafthouse will be treated to one of the most unique and entertaining restaurant experiences in Central Texas. The original belongs to Karrie and Tim League, and to  their credit it has been expanded to meet the needs of Austinites in every part of town. The South location, at 1120 South Lamar Street, is convenient to a growing population. Here's the deal: an animated, friendly wait staff will take your order for appetizers like potato skins and buffalo wings, or burgers and pizzas, or sundaes and other ice cream dishes, and keep your food coming while you enjoy movies from first run to campy. For the kids there are a variety of soft drinks, and for the "more adult" kids there are wine, beer and specialty drinks like sangria and mimosas.
