Hill Country Pasta combines food influences from Texas, Italy, and Asia to form a unique and interesting menu. Owner Brian Gilbert has updated the décor and built the Hill Country Garden Pavilion, a beautiful events venue in the middle of an organic garden. The décor features large frescoes of food and wine that enhance the relaxed and casual atmosphere. Tempting food choices include buffalo calamari, grilled meats and fish, pastas with spicy sauces, and pizza baked in a brick oven imported from Italy. If you feel creative, "create your own zone;" it's a way to accommodate special diets or just have fun. Take out meals can be ordered 4 to 24 hours ahead of time. Gilbert's other restaurant, Pronto Italiano, located on 620 near Bee Caves, offers fast Italian food choices for dining in or out.
