Founded by renowned restaurateur Phil Romano, Nick and Sam's, a handsome, upscale steakhouse in Uptown, has become a stalwart of Dallas' fine dining scene. The impressive menu includes classic steakhouse fare like jumbo lump crab cocktail, a variety of prime aged cuts of meat and sides like creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin as well as some dishes not often found at steak restaurants like pan  roasted quail, a maple and thyme glazed pork chop and sweet potato fries. Portions are massive and the service is first rate. Nick and Sam's extensive wine list features over 450 labels, over 30 of which are offered by the glass each evening. For a truly memorable evening, consider reserving the lavish wine room which seats up to 36 people and offers complete privacy.
